I’ve missed you

Ahh! summer has gotten away from us and thoughts of flight are with me and the birds.  The crows gathered in masses the other morning working out plans and routes…The geese have been preparing to head south over my house the last few mornings…the cardinals are long gone and the squirrels are running willy-nilly up and down the tree trunks looking for their buried stash for the winters nest.

I must have “avian” something or other because I’ve got the feeling too.  This year has taken a toll on many levels and it’s time to travel again.  I’ve also been injected with a internal response to the culture cults out there.  I’m being seduced by the call to find new art, places, history, and people.

Like manna falling from the sky, the heavens are opening up again with opportunities to do what one needs to do.  So having said that,  I want to reminisce and attached some photos from my favorite places.

It’s been awhile since my last blog…since May and this is December…like some romances.  Time will tell when it’s time to change direction and here I go.  I’m on my new path with much to tell.  A commitment to me that I will log in at least once a week with news, mostly happy and upbeat.  It’s been a very touch year, but travel still manages to satisfy me…

About What The Traveler Saw

What The Traveler Saw is what I want to share with you. I amass goods from around the world that represent the countries I visit. I no longer have a shop but I am encouraging all to join me on the trips we took before and the new ones ... Come See, What The Traveler Saw. This is how I see my world... http://www.flixxy.com/wonderful-world-david-attenborough.htm I find myself at a time in my life that I am focused now on seeing how gifted my life is, how healthy I still am and how aware I am of my strengths and weaknesses. My loves are clearer to me after having a celebrated life of lots of good and a bit of bad. But, that just gave me the insight that I have worked with up to now. Come on...Let's see what's in the world we live in!

  1. Zina Henderson

Any idea when/where your next trip will be? Plenty of advanced notice is preferrable for international trips.

    • I’m working on the details now. We will be in Europe in July for the Nice, France and Northesea,Amsterdam jazz festivals. Watch my blogs. I’ll also need email addresses for the travelers info etc.

  2. Glad to hear from you.

I, too, am on a different path at age 77. *That’s remarkable considering my journey, which I won’t go into* For the time being most of my writing will be social, essays and some politics–not so much politics as before. I’m also very involved in reading and researching our history shortly after 1776 and the formation of the Colonies. What happened to us?

I look forward to receiving your messages on you blog.
